Roberto Dias, also known as Beto, is head of engineering at ADP Ventures and a seasoned software engineering leader. With over 20 years of experience in technology and innovation, Beto blends deep technical expertise with a sharp product mindset, driving the design and delivery of scalable, user-centric platforms that solve real-world problems. 

He leads cross-functional teams across AI, product and engineering, guiding strategy, architecture, and execution for mission-critical systems. Beto is known for fostering high-performance cultures, and consistently transforming complex challenges into impactful, intuitive solutions. 

Born and raised in Brazil, Beto’s career spans roles such as principal data scientist, software architect, and chief technology officer of a food-tech startup. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), and an Master's of Business Administration in IT Management.

An inventor with multiple AI-related patents, Beto is also a contributor to open-source projects and a passionate advocate for emerging technologies, product-led growth, and human-centered innovation.
