She most recently served as chief people officer at Amazon One Medical, where she played a pivotal role in the company’s transition from private to public in 2020 and its subsequent $3.9 billion acquisition by Amazon in 2022 — the third-largest in Amazon’s history. She successfully led the integration through its completion in 2024.
Christine has established herself as a trusted strategic advisor to CEOs and executive teams. After starting her career at major organizations such as American Airlines and Sprint, she spent the last two decades scaling high-growth, industry-defining companies. At Virgin America, she helped grow the workforce from 35 to 4,500 employees, and at Amazon One Medical, she led the company from 300 to over 4,000 employees.
As a chief people officer, Christine is known for shaping and sustaining strong, human-centered cultures that drive business success. She played a critical role in defining and nurturing Amazon One Medical’s unique, team-based culture, which has been widely recognized across the industry. Christine has deep experience working with private and public boards, attending every Amazon One Medical board meeting and serving as a key leader on the Compensation Committee. She worked closely with the board to develop executive compensation strategies in both private and public company settings. A dynamic internal communications leader, Christine has also spearheaded large-scale engagement initiatives to keep employees across distributed and diverse organizations informed, inspired and connected—fostering high performance and personal well-being.
