Shawn Jung is principal and lead investor at ADP Ventures, where he shapes the ADP Ventures investment strategy and leads venture investments across the HCM space and broader ADP ecosystem. He brings over 15 years of experience spanning venture capital, private equity, and entrepreneurship.  

Before ADP, he was a partner at Activant Capital, a growth-stage venture firm with over $1 billion in AUM, where he led the investment process and served on the investment committee. Previously, Shawn was a vice president at TPG Sixth Street Partners, investing in preferred equity, debt, and special situations in technology companies. Earlier in his career, Shawn was part of the investment team at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, a global private equity firm. He began his career in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. 

As an entrepreneur, he helped launch AmazeVR, a Series B immersive media startup.  Shawn holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and an Master's of Business Administration from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
